• About NPHC, Inc. - North Houston

  The purpose of the NPHC, Inc. - North Houston shall be to foster cooperative actions of its members in dealing with matters of mutual concern. Thus, NPHC promotes the well-being of its affiliate fraternities and sororities, facilitates the establishment and development of local councils of the NPHC, and provides leadership training for its constituents.

  The National Pan-Hellenic Council, affectionately known as “The Divine Nine,” is composed of the following member organizations:

  • Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
  • Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
  • Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

  • Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
  • Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
  • Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.

  We are the NPHC, Inc. - North Houston, being a beacon of hope and unity. Our mission is clear: taking care of the community through service, commitment, and relentless support. Together, we shine brighter. We strive for unanimity of thought and action as far as possible in the conduct of Greek-lettered collegiate fraternities and sororities, and to consider the problems of mutual interest to its member organizations.

On April 13, 2024, a groundbreaking effort to expand, elevate and encourage philanthropic energy in the North Side of Houston, three D9 organizations established the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. - North Houston chapter.

Members of the MuMuNu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc and The Spring-The Woodlands-Huntsville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., along with the ladies of the Luminous Lambda Omega Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated. This new council serves the vibrant communities of North Houston, Spring, Humble, The Woodlands, Cypress, and Katy, TX, representing a significant step forward in expanding the reach of Black Greek-letter organizations in the area.
